Special traffic enforcement operation in Marina
Officers will be conducting a special traffic operation in the City of Marina on Thursday.
According to police, the Monterey Regional Strategic Traffic Operations and Prevention Program also known as STOPP will be focused on finding drivers breaking the rules.
Officers made up of Monterey regional law enforcement agencies will be patrolling throughout the city including local schools.
The operation will be held on December 7th from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
STOPP was formed to promote and enhance motorist safety, educate drivers and cut down on traffic collisions.
This program is paid for by Monterey County law enforcement agencies.
