Watsonville felon arrested for possession of loaded gun

A Watsonville felon was arrested for violating his probation after officers found him with a loaded gun.

According to Watsonville Police, officers went to 26-year-old Jesus Serrano’s home to do a probation compliance check on Tuesday December 12 at 12:43 p.m. That’s when officers located ammunition, gang paraphernalia, and a loaded .45 caliber pistol hidden where police said a child could grab it.

Serrano was arrested for being a felon in Possession of the listed items. He was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail.
