Giant stockings sewn for December babies to go home in

Babies born this month will be heading home as “stocking stuffers” this Christmas.

Newborn Kieran, delivered this week at Dignity Health Dominican Hospital, is among the babies ready to go home in a special holiday stocking with parents Molly and Guido.

For years, a group of retired Dominican labor and delivery nurses, calling themselves “The Grateful Thread” have been sewing and donating adorable oversized holiday stockings for the hospital’s December babies.
