Salinas police arrest man found inside stolen truck

Salinas Police arrested a man found in a stolen truck on San Juan Grade Road late Tuesday night.

Police said the owner of the stolen pickup saw his truck in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 100 block of San Juan Grade Road.

Officers then found 54-year-old Eric Chisum inside. They tried to convince him to get out of the truck but he refused at first. He then eventually cooperated and was taken into custody.

Chisum was arrested for being in a stolen vehicle and violation of probation.
