Suspect arrested for pulling gun out near Watsonville Airport

A Santa Cruz man has been arrested for allegedly brandishing a gun at others near Watsonville Airport.

According to Watsonville Police, a call came in around 12:50 p.m. about shots being fired in the 10 block of Hangar Way and Airport Blvd.

Officers arrived at the address, which is a business called, “Easy Riders.” Police said an altercation about a car sale erupted and that’s when the male suspect pulled out a gun. PD has confirmed that no gun shots were fired.

PD told KION the property had been cleared and one gun was found.

No injuries were reported.
