Deputies suspect overnight arson in Watsonville
Deputies are investigating a suspected overnight arson in Watsonville.
It happened around 1:00 a.m. Wednesday in a field on the 1100 block of Green Valley Road. That’s where deputies found a Toyota sedan on fire. It did not belong to anyone living in nearby.
The color of the vehicle is not known at this time. A nearby trailer was also extensively burned, but the fire did not spread any further into the surrounding area.
