2️⃣ One battle after another

A man spent more than 40 years in prison for a murder he maintains he did not commit. After a judge overturned Subu Vedam’s conviction, ICE took him into custody. His next fight will be to stay in the US.

3️⃣ Flipping voters

Democrats’ victories in recent elections suggest their success rests not just on turnout from a motivated base but also on winning over Republicans and independents.

4️⃣ ‘I’m done’

Millions of Uber, Lyft, DoorDash and Instacart drivers have no choice but to pay higher gas prices if they want to keep earning a living. Some are deciding to call it quits.
