Remains of infant found in north Monterey County, sheriff’s office says

The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office said first responders found the remains of an infant on Saturday.
Around 8:30 a.m., first responders and deputies were sent to the 100 block of Struve Road for a report of an infant being found in the area.
Fire crews declared the infant dead at the scene.
The sheriff’s office said they are investigating and asked anyone with information to call them at 831-755-3700.
