New fundraiser in honor of Carmel teen swept out to sea

Just under a week after a Carmel teenager was swept out to sea, the Carmel community is coming together with a touching tribute.

A GoFundMe page has been set up in honor of Braxton Stuntz.

The group hopes to create the Braxton Stuntz Foundation with the money donated.

The money will go toward the Children’s Surgical Center and the tutoring of children in math and science, as well as other educational scholarships in Monterey County.

So far the page has raised over $23,000 of the $100,000 goal.
