All Carmel Unified Schools and programs closed today

School officials tell KION all Carmel Unified Schools and programs are closed for students today.

There are power outages at most of the school sites and there multiple road closures due to power lines and trees down. District staff is also assessing the extent of storm damage.

Employees will receive more information soon about their work assignments.
