Santa Cruz Style Magazine facing backlash after publishing KKK photos

A Santa Cruz lifestyle publication is in some hot water after publishing photos of a Ku Klux Klan member.

In the latest edition of Santa Cruz Style Magazine, the “dream weird” section features a photo of a Klansman with the caption, “A Ku Klux Klan member makes a phone call from a pay phone on Beach Street in Santa Cruz.”

The attached article makes no mention of the photo, and goes on to talk about filmmakers and musicians in Santa Cruz.

People took to social media to express their outrage, saying it was in poor taste.

We have reached out to the publication for comment, and have not heard back.
