Mount Hermon Road reopened after fire causes closures

UPDATE 9/9/18 5:13 p.m. Mount Hermon Road is now open in both directions.

Both directions were closed because of a fire near the intersection of Conference Drive.

The fire is out, and Cal Fire does not think any structures were damaged.

PREVIOUS STORY: A fire in the are of Mt. Hermon Road and Conference Drive has caused road closures.

The fire is out now, but Mount Hermon Road is still closed that area.

Scotts Valley Police ask that people stay away from the area and use Graham Hill Road instead.

Cal Fire says the fire was 20 feet by 40 feet.

They do not believe any structures were damaged.

It started just before 4:15 Sunday afternoon.
