Two shootings less than an hour apart in Watsonville

Watsonville Police are investigating two shootings that happened less than an hour apart.

According to police, the first happened just before 1 p.m. on Martinelli Street Tuesday, December 19th.

When officers arrived, they found an unoccupied vehicle with the windows shot out. A home behind the car was also hit by gunfire, but no one was hurt.

Witnesses did not see the suspect vehicle and there is no suspect information.

Another shooting happened at 1:11 p.m. in the 200 block of Green Meadow Drive. No one was hurt in this shooting either and no homes were hit.

There is no suspect information.
