SFPD Officer Under Investigation For Sex With A Minor Kills Himself

Authorities said a motorist who shot and killed himself after being pulled over was a San Francisco police officer.

Officials said the suicide occurred Monday following a police pursuit in the city of Richmond across the bay from San Francisco.

Richmond police Lt. Felix Tan said the man pulled into a mall parking lot and fatally shot himself while still inside his car.

Law enforcement sources told CBS SF the officer was being investigated for sex with a minor in Las Vegas.

San Francisco police have not identified the officer yet, but CBS SF confirmed that the car is registered to Antonio Cacatian.

The Contra Costa District Attorney’s Office has opened an investigation.
