One hurt following shooting in Greenfield neighborhood, suspect at large

One person was injured in Greenfield Saturday afternoon following a shooting on the 400 block of Primavera Ct., according to Sergeant Armando Mendoza with Greenfield Police.

The shooting happened shortly before 1 p.m. in a residential neighborhood near Primavera Park and does not appear to be gang related, Mendoza said.

Mendoza says officers are looking for a suspect and are currently interviewing possible witnesses in hopes of getting more information about the incident. They are also hoping neighbors in the area could have surveillance footage of the shooting.

The victim, whose age and identity have not been released yet, was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition, according to Mendoza.
