Three car crash kills two people in Hollister

Two people died in a three car accident over the weekend in Hollister.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred Saturday near Frazer Lake Road at Shore Road when the driver of a 2014 KIA Forte drove through a stop sign and collided with a 2017 GMC Yukon. CHP said the KIA then collided with another car.

Both people in the KIA were killed in the accident. The driver has been identified as, 56-year-old Yolanda Louise Hernandez of Los Banos and her passenger, 65-year-old Arnulfo Garcia of Hayward.

CHP said it is unclear if alcohol or drugs played a factor in the crash. The accident is still under investigation.
