3.1 quake strikes off Northern California coast

A small earthquake struck off the coast of Northern California Monday.

According to the United States Geological Survey, a 3.1 magnitude quake hit around 12:36 p.m. and was centered 32 miles west of Ferndale. USGS reported the earthquake had a depth of 2.4 miles.

Friday, multiple earthquakes struck the same area one of which was a magnitude of 5.7
