Troop trailer stolen from Salinas Boy Scout Troop

A Salinas Boy Scout Troop is hoping the public will help them locate a stolen troop trailer.

The trailer was parked next to the Church of the Good Shepherd on Coral de Tierra Road in Salinas. It contained all of the troop’s camping equipment when it was stolen.

Along with the theft, a gate at the church was broken down and some of the church’s storage sheds were broken into and had various items stolen.

The trailer is a white cargo trailer and is 15 feet long, license plate 4HE7146. The brand name on the trailer is “Charmac”. The trailer has one wheel bearing that is not in good condition so the trailer might be seen broken down on the side of a road.

Scoutmaster Douglas Fouts asks, “if anyone hears of anyone selling a lot of used camping equipment, or used power tools, please let me know since that could be the thief trying to sell off what they stole.”

If you would like to reach out to the troop, their phone number is 831-287-2022
