3.2 quake strikes near San Juan Bautista

A magnitude 3.2 earthquake was reported Wednesday 1 mile from San Juan Bautista, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

USGS officials said the epicenter was less than ten miles from Hollister and 11 miles from Salinas.

In the last seven days, there has been one earthquake reported of magnitude 2.5 or greater nearby.
