Armed robber steals prescription drugs from Watsonville Walgreens

Watsonville Police are looking for the person who robbed a Walgreens pharmacy Sunday night.

It happened at the Walgreens on Freedom Boulevard. Officers say the suspect jumped over the pharmacy counter and demanded that pharmacy techs hand over prescription drugs.

He then got away with an undisclosed amount of medication and took off on foot toward Green Valley Road.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his early twenties with a thin build. Anyone with information is asked to call Watsonville Police.
