Smoldering tree causes activity in Bally fire area, officials say it’s now under control

Gilroy fire officials say around 4, the received calls about visible smoke in the same area where the Ballybunion Fire took place.

When they arrived, they found a smoldering tree and began attacking via air and on foot. The fire is under control and it is of no threat to structures or people.

Officials are now monitoring the area and expect the scene to be cleared within the next hour.
