Hollister PD searching for suspects after alleged assault, possible kidnapping

Police in Hollister are looking for four suspects who allegedly assaulted a man and possibly kidnapped a woman on the 1400 block of Sunnyslope Lane Saturday evening, according to Sgt. Ray Celano with the Hollister Police Department.

According to Celano, someone called 911 around 8 p.m. reporting that both victims, believed to be in their early 20s, were walking down the street when a silver BMW drove up to them. Four men got out, assaulted the man and put the woman into the vehicle, Celano said. Officers believe the suspects then drove off heading west on Sunnyslope.

After the incident, the male victim got up and ran off, Celano said.
