Aptos car thieves caught on camera

The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office needs the publics help finding two suspects who stole items from a car in Aptos.

According to the Sheriff’s Office the burglary took place in the 400 block of Loma Prieta on July 9 around 4:47 a.m. The burglars are seen on surveillance approaching a car in the driveway of someones home.The video captured the two thieves stealing multiple items from the vehicle.

“We’re hoping to speak to both of these people after multiple items were stolen from this car in Aptos. If you recognize them please contact Sheriff’s Office Dispatch at 831-471-1121 to speak to a Deputy, reference case 17-05698,” said Santa Cruz Sheriff’s Office.
