Crews battle brush fire in Gilroy near Eagle Ridge community

Fire crews are battling a brush fire in Gilroy near the Eagle Ridge community, according to the Gilroy Fire Department.

As the fire started to grow in size, several residents in the area of Santa Teresa Blvd. started posting photos on Twitter. Many pictures show the fire burning in the hills above homes, however the Gilroy Fire Dept. did not say if any homes were being threatened.
