King City juvenile arrested for brandishing a firearm

King City Police Officers were called out on a report of a brandishing of a firearm on Saturday evening in the 400 block of North Third Street.

When officers arrived, they spoke with the victim, who provided a suspect vehicle description of a grey colored van, occupied by numerous juvenile males.

The suspect vehicle was found at Soberanes Street at Meyer Street. Officers detained six juvenile males who were inside. One of the juveniles was found to be concealing a pistol in his pants, later determined to be a BB gun. The victim later identified one of the juvenile males as the subject who brandished and pointed the pistol.

The suspect was taken into custody, booked and later transported to the Monterey County Juvenile Hall, where he was booked for 245(a)(1) PC and 417.4 PC. The remaining juveniles were later released to their parents.
