Man shot multiple times in Salinas early Friday

Salinas police are investigating a shooting that sent a man to the hospital early Friday morning.

Police say a 33-year-old man was shot multiple times around 1:00 a.m. in the 300 block of Williams Road.

The victim, who was not immediately identified, was taken to the hospital. There was no word on his condition.

Police say the shooting is likely gang-related.
