An inmate who walked away from the minimum-support facility at Salinas Valley State Prison earlier this week was arrested Saturday morning in Yuba County, according to a press release from Salinas Valley State Prison.

Donald Likens, 28, was spotted by Yuba City Police officers, who recognized him from a flyer, around 9 a.m. as he was riding a bicycle, according to the release. Likens was quickly taken into custody without incident and will be returned to SVSP, the release stated.

Likens was received by California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation in November 2016 from Yuba County to serve a four-year, eight-month sentence for first-degree burglary, evading a peace officer while driving recklessly, and vehicle theft.
