11 adults and two dogs were rescued near Davenport in Santa Cruz County late Saturday night when the beach goers were stranded by high tides, according to Cal Fire.

Cal Fire made rescue attempts using a rope system. Crews cleared the scene a short time after.

No injuries were reported.
