S.W.A.T. team recovers various drugs in Castroville, two men in custody

Monterey County Sheriff’s S.W.A.T and the Investigations Division arrested two men in Castroville for possession of drugs and ammunition.

36-year-old Jose Guerrero and 35-year-old Israel Robles both were found at the warrant search locations.

Deputies found a pound of various drugs including, heroin, crystal meth and marijuana. The SWAT team also located ammunition, scales, packaging materials and drug paraphernalia.

Guerrero was on Federal Parole for drug related offenses. Robles was charged for being a prohibited person in possession of ammunition.

Both men were taken into custody on various narcotic related charges.
