Freak Wind Flies Bouncy Houses

A girl in Mexico was seriously injured after a freak gust of wind sent huge inflatables flying into the air – as horrified parents watch their children fall to the ground.

The 8-year old was one of four injured at a children’s party in central Mexico. The castles were torn from their safety ropes as children played on them. The injured girl was trapped in a tunnel before being dropped into a car park

The youngster, eight, was one of four injured at a children’s party in San Luis Potosi, in central Mexico, when a gust of wind sent four huge inflatables flying through the air.

The girl – who had been inside a tunnel in the main triangle-shaped inflatable – was trapped as the castle broke free.

First it was slammed into restraining barriers, then it was swept upside down over the fence into the air, dropping the youngster on to the car park. Parents are seen running trying the scoop up their children as the terrified youngsters are scattered all over the play area.

CCTV footage of the drama has since gone viral on social media.

Local media has said the seriously injured girl is being treated for skull trauma.

Her relatives have posted an appeal on social media for financial help to pay her medical bills.
