Watsonville police looking for Sunday night shooter

The Watsonville Police Department needs your help in finding two men suspected in the shooting a man near the Pajaro River levee Sunday night.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Walker Street and the Pajaro River levee around 7:30 p.m. Sunday night.

According to police, the victim was approached by two Hispanic males who asked him what gang he was from. The three struggled when the men tired to steal the man’s mountain bike. During the struggle the victim was shot once in the torso.
