Otters enjoy Halloween at Aquarium
Sea otters at the Monterey Bay Aquarium enjoyed Halloween treats Monday morning, and there wasn’t a Butterfinger or Hershey bar in sight.
The treats were icy treats made to look like candy corn and other Halloween favorites.
The Aquarium said the celebration allowed its rescued otters to stimulate natural behaviors by cracking open the treats, much like they would do with urchins in the wild.
