Salinas police investigate Chinatown shooting Friday afternoon
Salinas police are investigating a shooting in Chinatown Friday evening.
Officers said a 23-year-old man was shot several times by another man near East Lake Street and Soledad Street just after 4 p.m.
The victim was taken to Natividad Trauma Center in serious condition.
