Traffic delays on Highway 68 in Monterey

Drivers can expect delays on Highway 68 in Monterey this week as crews remove dead trees near the Community Hospital of Monterey Peninsula.

Caltrans said the maintenance work will take place just west of CHOMP on Wednesday, Sep 14 th and Thursday the 15 th .

Expect delays on the eastbound side of the highway from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Drivers should expect 15-20 minute traffic delays.

Caltrans also wants to remind motorists to move over and slow down in a highway work zone.
