Two dogs stolen from Salinas Animal Shelter

Two dogs were stolen from the Salinas Animal Shelter on Hitchcock Road Sunday evening, according to police.

Investigators said Cora, a 4-month-old white and black pitbull and Mary Jane, a 3-year-old brown and white pitbull both went missing between 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Salinas police said officers are investigating all leads and are asking for the public’s help in returning them to the shelter.
