Fire victim resource directory available in Monterey County

A resource directory is now available for victims of the Soberanes and Chimney fires in Monterey County.

It is now available online at www.co.monterey.ca.us/OES.

The Monterey County Office of Emergency Services said the directory gives victims one central place for information on organizations and agencies involved in disaster assistance.

Additionally, the county said there has been a dramatic increase in residents signing up to receive emergency notifications through Alert Monterey County.
