Chimney Fire jumps to 60% containment
The Chimney Fire burning in San Luis Obispo and South Monterey County is now 60% contained, according to Cal Fire.
During the day on Sunday the fire was 52% contained.
The fire started on August 13th and has since burned 45, 108 acres and destroyed 49 homes and 21 other buildings.
An evacuation order remains in effect for Bryson-Hesperia area of Monterey County.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
