Evacuations lifted in Cachagua area

Evacuation warnings will be lifted in the Cachagua area effective Sunday, August 14, 2016 as of 6 p.m.

The warnings lifted will be for all residents along Cachagua Road at Nason Road to Trampa Canyon Road and Cachagua Road from Carmel Valley Road to Tassajara Road.

Cal Fire said the change is due to the progress being made by firefighters on the Soberanes fire.

Evacuation warnings will remain in effect for Tassajara Road from Carmel Valley to the Tassajara Hot Springs Zen Center.
