28-year-old man hurt after shooting in front of Salinas home

A 28-year-old man is in the hospital after a shooting in Salinas.

It happened on Sunday night, just before 10:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Sunrise Street.

Police say the man was standing in front of his home when the suspect fired multiple rounds, striking the man once in the abdomen.

He was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening wounds.

A grey pick-up truck, possibly a Toyota Tacoma, was seen driving out of the area.
