Toro Park 7-Eleven robbed early Tuesday morning

The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office is searching for three people who robbed a 7-Eleven early Tuesday morning.

It happened around 12:30 a.m. at the 7-Eleven on Portola Drive when three suspects with their faces covered entered the store.

The clerk was in the back of the business at the time.

The suspects were able to get away with two cash registers and several packs of cigarettes. A make and model of the getaway vehicle isn’t available, but officials believe it took off on Portola Drive toward Highway 68.
