Two men hold liquor store at gunpoint, Salinas police said

Police are looking for two suspects behind an armed robbery at a liquor store in Salinas Friday.

Investigators said two men wearing masks and armed with handguns walked into the liquor store on the 600 block of East Laurel Drive around 10 p.m.

Several customers were inside the business during the robbery and police said at one point one of the suspects struck the clerk.

No injuries were reported.

Both men got away with an unknown amount of cash and were last seen headed toward Natividad Road in an SUV.
