Police: 1 injured after Salinas shooting

Salinas police are investigating a shooting that sent one man to the hospital Saturday morning.

The incident happened in the 1300 block of North Sanborn Road at 12:43 a.m., according to police.

Investigators said a man was shot at several times after being followed by a suspect in a vehicle.

The victim was taken to a hospital and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
