Salinas wrestling coach arrested for inappropriate behavior with a young girl

An assistant junior varsity wrestling coach at Salinas High School and a volunteer wrestling coach at Washington Middle School was arrested for a lewd act on a child.

On Saturday evening, Salinas Police officers found Adolfo Castillo, 23, engaging in inappropriate conduct with a female minor in a car near Woodside Drive and Greenwood Place.

Both schools and the Salinas Union High School District have been notified. Salinas Police said school officials are helping with the investigation.
