Storm related road closures on the Central Coast
Several roads on the Central Coast are closed or blocked off because of weather related incidents. That includes flooding, downed trees and wires.
MONTEREY COUNTY ROAD CLOSURES:
-Sence Road, Old Stage and HWY 101 Reason: Flooding
-River Road, 640 River Rd to 620 River Rd Reason: Flooding
-Old Stage Road, 24500 Old Stage Rd to San Jerardo Reason: Flooding
-Alisal Road, Salinas City Limits to Zabala Road Reason: Flooding
-Hartnell Road between Hwy 101 and Alisal Road Reason: Flooding
-Murphy Road between Hwy 129 and San Juan Road Reason: Flooding
-Aguajito Road at Valenzuela Drive Reason: Tree Down
-Blackie Road, Equestrian Place to MM 3.2 Reason: Flooding
-Harrison Road between Russel Road and Sala Road Reason: Flooding
-Echo Valley Road between Maher Road and Tustin Road Reason: Flooding
-Elkhorn Road between Kirby Park and Wough Reason: Flooding
-Garin Road between Lewis and Elkhorn Road Reason: Tree Down
-Ralph Lane from Assisi Way to HWY 101 Reason: Flooding
-San Juan Grade from Rogge to Crazy Horse Reason: Flooding
-Sylvan Road, from 1115 Sylvan to 1204 Sylvan Reason: Flooding
-Sylvan Road, from 1154 to 1244 Sylvan Reason: Tree Down
SANTA CRUZ COUNTY ROAD CLOSURES:
Aptos Beach Dr – Treasure Island and Rio Del Mar. Area is flooded. All roads in the area closed. Bonita Dr – Sand Bar and San Andreas. Tree and power lines are down. Buena Vista Dr – In between Whiskey Hill and Slough Rd. Road is flooded. El Rancho Dr – Closed at 1504 El Rancho and 1434 El Rancho. Tree and power lines are down. Glenwood Dr – 2 miles up from Glenwood cutoff. Big boulder and mud slide blocking whole road. Lompico Rd – E Lake and E Zayante. Lompico Rd closed due to tree and power pole down in roadway. Murphy Crossing – San Juan Rd and Riverside Dr. Road closed due to flooding. Redwood Lodge at MM 1.50 and 1.54 – Tree Down With Cable Wires Involved. River Rd – Mile Mark 1.75. Mudslide and trees are down. San Andreas Rd – At Manresa. Road is flooded. Schulties Rd – at post mile 2.5. Mud slide blocking both lanes. Soquel Dr – 9030 Soquel Dr. Tree down with cable wires involved blocking roadway. Soquel San Jose Rd – 3 miles north of Alfadel Rd. Tree down with wires. 410 Sumner Avenue – Tree Down on Telephone Wires.
