Santa Cruz Police say alcohol was a factor in Wednesday stabbing
A 30-year-old Santa Cruz man was arrested for stabbing another man as they were walking home on Seabright Avenue from a bar early Wednesday morning. Santa Cruz Police say alcohol was a factor, and that this incident is not gang related.
Police arrested Damon Hahn for attempted murder. They say he was the one who called 911 to report the stabbing.
The 25-year-old victim sustained two stab wounds and the knife was still lodged into his back when officers and firefighters arrived on scene. The victim was taken to a Bay Area trauma center for treatment.
