Salinas man arrested in drug bust

A Salinas man is behind bars after an early morning drug bust Friday.

It happened at 10 a.m. when the Peninsula Regional Violence and Narcotics Team say they served a search warrant at a residence in the 200 block of Calle Cebu in Salinas.

The team arrested 33-year-old Bernard Campbell after finding one pound of cocaine, cocaine base and over $5,000 in cash.

He was transported to the Monterey County Jail for possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine for sale, possession of cocaine base for sale, and child endangerment. His bail was set at $50,000.
