Man killed in boating accident in Morgan Hill

A man in his mid 20s was killed after a boating accident Thursday night at Anderson Reservoir, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said the man somehow fell off or jumped off the boat and was hit by the boats propeller. They don’t know the extent of his injuries

People who were on the boat were able to get the man back up on the boat and brought him to shore.

Emergency crews responded and he was pronounced dead on shore. Deputies are not sure if drugs or alcohol were a factor.
