Search for missing airman after no-show during curfew at Presidio of Monterey

The Defense Language Institute and the U.S. Air Force confirm a local airman is missing and he may be at risk.

According to DLI, Erik Davidson, 20, missed curfew July 26. The Air Force said Davidson is a member of the 517th Training Group located at the Presidio of Monterey.

Davidson’s command based out of Texas said there’s an ongoing investigation and details are limited, but information will be released as it becomes available.

The Air Force said Davidson’s safety is a priority and that local and regional authorities are assisting with the case.

Davidson is being described as 20-years-old, 6 foot 2, 170 pounds, brown hair and blue eyes.
