Dead frog found in Taylor Farms spinach bag, woman says

A Covina woman said she was “disgusted” to see a pair of frog legs in the pre-packaged bag of baby spinach leaves.

The bag was bought from a Southern California Sam’s Club. According to Donna Souza, Taylor Farms told her that a malfunction with the company’s harvesting equipment was likely to blame for the frog.

This was an isolated incident and a recall is not expected to be issued.

Taylor Farms said it’s not commenting the woman’s claim.
