King City police investigate shooting on Lynn St.

UPDATE 5/28/2015: Police are investigating a shooting in the 300 block of Lynn Street of King City Wednesday night.

Officers said an 18-year-old man was shot in his left ankle while standing outside this home with another person. The man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said words were exchanged between the shooter and victim and the incident appears to be gang-related. Officers said a 39-year-old man was also at the scene and escaped the gunfire.

Officers said the suspect is a Hispanic man in his 20s, about 5 foot 5 inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds, wearing a gray hoodie and a black hat. Officers said he was last seen running westbound on Lynn St.
